She's a Battle Girl who challenged Ash to an Pokémon battle even after losing to the Drewford Gym Leader, Brawly and claims to be his apprentice and girlfriend despite not being true at first after May asked him in person while in a cavern during an hurricane. After losing to Ash from his Pikachu, Brawly then decided to make her his apprentice once he was impressed from the battle. This is from the episode, "A Meditite Fight!".
