Splatoon- Inkling

Splatoon is a video game created and published by Nintendo and it was just released. It's a game about covering as much turf as possible by spraying the ground using special ink spraying guns and what makes it most unique is you can change into a squid form and ride inside the ink allowing you to go much faster and giving it a stealth edge.

As far as I can tell there are no barefoot options in the game but that doesn't mean there isn't official art and a rather well hidden, unfortunately not the best resolution art with a barefoot model!

So far this is the only Inkling stuff that I am aware of but I did do some research before this post. There may be some stuff later with post-content and I will gladly make more posts if such content gets produced.

I'll be doing a "Is it Wrong to Pick up Girls at a Dungeon" post tomorrow! There's 3 episodes worth of content so it's going to be a big one! Certainly not as small as this haha.

If you know of any official content then I'll be glad to update this post!  And as always, thanks for reading!

  1. Yeah, I was really hoping for a barefoot option, too. Just imagine that their feet have to be covered in thick layers of ink! It's not dirt, but it'll do!

  3. If you complete a stage for the inlking boy/girl amiibo challenges, when the game loads the hub town back in, there are a few frames where it "dresses" the amiibo character model. In those few frames, it would appear as if the character is barefoot. I've only seen this on the boy as I'm working on getting all his gear, however if someone with the capability could screencap this happening to the girl, it would probably make a lot of people very happy.

    1. I just checked and it's unfortunately pretty messed up. It's an easy screencap but it's a very deformed foot model with no toes making me believe they render it that way with shoes.
