Baten Kaitos Foot Festival

Welcome back to the Foot Festival series, today, we will be going through an hidden gem on the GameCube called "Baten Kaitos", an RPG series by Monolith Soft before being brought by Nintendo from Bandai Namco, it is about magic cards called "Magnus", which allows humanity to store the essence of objects or powers in them for future use. Long ago, an evil god named Malpercio, invaded the planet and sucked all of the water out of the oceans and several legendary heroes eventually fought this entity and sealed his power away with the five all-powerful "End Magnus", but thanks to Malpercio's successful plan, the Earth itself was left uninhabitable, leaving humanity to migrate and live among the floating contents in the skies. Overtime, this causes the humans to evolve and grow wings, allow them to fly for a short time. Unlike most RPGs, you don't get to control the protagonist himself, but instead, as a self-named "guardian spirit" that directly interacts with the protagonist through preset text dialogue tree response options. At times, characters will address the player and ask questions, giving the sensation of breaking the fourth wall. I wonder if there are female feet to play with in these series.
