In honor of July 4th... Here is a tribute to a female character that epitomizes the red, white and blue spirit... Wonder Woman. The Themysciran princess was barefoot in a recent episode of DC Super Hero Girls. ^_^

It should noted that Bumblebee also has some great scenes wearing her pajamas complete with Bee Themed slippers which give us a great glimpse of her heels. I updated her last set which some images from this episode here:

DeleteI agree with everyone. :-D Definitely love an episode when a female character is barefoot throughout. DCSHG has really done a great job of fulfilling my fantasies of seeing many of my favorite heroines barefoot.
DeleteWould love it if Marvel series did that as well. So far I think that the series with the highest barefoot female character counts for marvel have been X-men Evolution and Ultimate Spiderman. Here's hoping that we continue to see heroines and villainesses barefoot from both companies. ^_^
KingsSideCastle, I agree. I don't know if there any decent amount of foot shots in Marvel over DC Comics.

ReplyDeleteBTW, I just found this manga called Makyou no Shanana starting a blonde jungle girl named Shanana, which sounds like a play on the classic Marvel jungle girl Shanna. Anyway, the manga does contain some ecchi, but this cute jungle girl barefoot throughout, especially since she is a jungle girl and blonde, that's automatic win-win! :) http://kissmanga.com/Manga/Makyou-no-Shanana
