Kyoko is a young girl, who dropped out of high school to help her would be boyfriend Sho become an actor, only to find out he was using her as a stepping stone. After that she changed her appearance and became determined to become a better actress than Sho. Before the break up Kyoko was a very hardworking, giving and selfless to a fault; after she left Sho she became determined and will become angry when Sho is mentioned. As an actress she is still green, but has shown a real talent for becoming the character she is playing.

Ruriko Matsuani is a primadonna actress who believes she deserves her roll based on her name.
Kanae Kotonami is a talented young actress who is both a rival to and eventually friend of Kyoko.
Mimori Nanokura is Sho's replacement for Kyoko. She is very naive, giving, and dedicated to Sho.
