Reze is a young woman that Denji met and eventually fell in love with. She works in a coffee shop but she often ignores her tasks to talk to Denji whenever he visits. She is actually an agent of the USSR and the Bomb Devil Hybrid. Her objective is to retrieve the Chainsaw Heart from Denji but the feelings she developed for him got in the way of her mission.

DeleteShe was clearly set up as a honey trap, but I rooted for her up until she nommed Denji's tongue. That's when I knew Reze was a whole combo platter of psycho. Putting an assassin in a death lock as she sang a Russian lullaby was the first sign she had a twisted and tragic mentality, and was playing at being normal for appearances' sake but hiding the fact she could easily cause bloody mayhem and not bat an eye.
