Fanart Friday: Rumi, Mira & Zoey (KPop Demon Hunters)

I’ve said it before I think this movie is overrated AF, that’s not to say I didn’t like the movie. I thought it was good, but it’s still overrated, but you can’t argue its popularity, out of the three my favorite is probably Zoey. 1. I found the Netflix movie to be OK, nothing special, just an family-friendly action musical film when I first saw it the day it came out. To me, this is Totally Spies mixed with K-Pop music, demon hunting and Spider-Verse visuals. I never understood it has gotten SO popular very quickly despite that. Maybe because it's like an introduction to Korean pop music to newcomers.

    1. tl;dr investors and shareholders are pumping up K-shit cause Korea bit the GLOBALHOMO apple, while Japan didn't.

    2. How do you feel about South Korean entertainment being more recognizable and more accessible to consumers outside of Asia?

    3. You know what, I'd rather the market overseers and special interest groups focus pushing all their pozz onto Korean shit just to keep them out of Japanese shit for the time being. At least that way Jap media retains it's identity, without repositioning their values to pander towards global interests. Though I'd much rather globohomo stay out of South Korea as well, but when you hear about shit like The Daughters of Megallia cults (메갈리아) and the influence they've had with electing PMs along with their terrorist simps, they're most likely a lost cause.

    4. In other words, you prefer Japanese media rather than South Korean stuff and would like to keep the latter away from the former?

    5. More really keep the orbiters around Korean stuff like JAY-Z's MarcyPen Capital Partners, modern Mattel and Hasbro and especially Netflix, away from Jap media.

    6. You hate anything that is made or originated in the US?

    7. No, they do. That's why they're colonizing markets from other countries and exporting jobs outside the US.

    8. What do you mean? How much you know about them?

    9. shid, if you want my autism on it that much...

Ok, just look at how DJIA companies like Coca-Cola, McDonald's or Disney, so-called ""American"" companies, practically choke the entire planet with their monopolies. Same with the """Japanese""" company Sony; once they reach a certain girth, after politricking all the trade and employment advantages, they're no longer representative of their own countries and are just global supranational juggernauts, no one can compete with. Almost their own mini-governments, well, which is what they really want anyway, lobby governments until they become them.
The tl;dr is you can't become a global enterprise, and play with the big boys, without betraying your own country and bribing other countries to sell themselves out to you first.

Could there be a standard where globalism could benefit distribution back and forth with good intentions?
Possibly, but you'll still step on some people and be railroaded fast if you don't pay all the right people. "It's a big club… and you ain't in it!"

Now whats going on with Korean entertainment may be on a smaller scale, but if they get enough idols over their to sell their souls to Mammon, for the greater dollar, ya know, like all those Mickey Mouse club kids that became world-wide celebrities, HYBE and JYP will be house-hold names known around the world and get integrated with the rest into the bigwig consortium, if they aren't already.

    10. Well asking a sperglord "How much you know", will trigger a bowel movement of thoughts.

But to expand on a prior point, now why couldn't JAY Z just use his nouveau riche company to build up aspiring idols in the US instead of sending 500mil to SK? Cause the whole purpose of globalism is supposed to be the antithesis to nationalism, dismantling it. Moving your wealth from one country to build up industries in another at your expense, with the final proceeds always going into the international banks they created only for themselves. So it's kinda like Communism on steroids but only works for them, which is no surprise since Communism was also an invention of the rich.
