Ok a Megapost today. This one is tribute to Yuki Cross from the anime series Vampire Knight. Vampire. Vampire Knight is a Shoujo* series that revolves around a school for Vampires and Humans. Vampires take classes at night while human students take classes during the day time. The main character Yuki is the adopted daughter of the Headmaster of the school. He made her a member of the school's disciplinary squad and gave her the job of keeping the Vampire and Human students apart.

This was one of those tributes where I watched the entire series as I was capping it. The Vampire Knight anime is divided into two seasons (each 13 episodes). The first season is called Vampire Knight while the second is referred to as Vampire Knight Guilty. The series isn't bad. It definitely targets female fans and there's a bit of a twilight feel to it where there is a heavier focus on romance/drama than action. (Interestingly enough the manga for this series was released around the Twilight books were released.) Stylistically the anime is very well animated and it does have a very great set of characters with cool sets of powers.
As the lead of the Vampire Knight series, Yuki does a pretty good job of holding the audience's interest. She has a cheerful personality and is kindhearted so it's fun to watch her interactions. She also possesses a mysterious past being unable to remember anything before the day she survived a vampire attack and was found in the snow as a child. Yuki winds up being at the center of a love triangle between the two Vampire leads of the series though there are a lot of complications to that premise.
Of course the nice thing about Yuki is that she's definitely easy on the eyes and has the attractive school girl look going that many female anime leads possess. :-D

Delete:-D She had just been turned into a vampire by a high level pure blood and was in such a rush to check up on her friend that she forgot to take her shoes with her. The pure blood had one of his minions look after her so the minion brought her her shoes. I imagine that they were probably pretty dirty. She was running around for a bit. ^_^
