Maebashi Witches: Mai Kamiizumi

She's one of the five Maebashi Witches who is the level-headed of the group and always cares about what others think and is very aware of her own limits. She also helps balance the bond of the witches and tried to avoid unwanted matters. She is a gamer thanks to her father and got a childhood relationship with a girl named Yua Hosaka who enjoys playing video games like her but grown out of it in favor of beauty pageants. This is from Episode 5 where Mai was conforting Yua due to having a hidden online fame which got her a much bigger fanbase, igniting Yua’s envy. Feeling betrayed, Yua was furious, leaving tensions high between the two and Yua's wounded pride and obsession with popularity pushed her toward a drastic decision.
