Custom's Picks: Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club NEXT SKY

This OVA takes place right after the Season 2 finale where Ayumu returned to Japan from her overseas trip to London to spread the love of school idols outside of her home country. She brought her British friend, Isla, to the Nijigasaki School Idol Club, to get more personal experience on school idols that inspired her to became one herself but was unable to garner support in her home country in the UK, so the club introduces her to Japanese idol culture and has her perform with them. Even though she enjoyed her time in Japan, Isla decided to return home after her request to form a school idol club in Britain is declined due to different culture sensitivities and ideals. The club members intervened and convinced her not to give up on her goals and aspirations, after which they point out to Shioriko that her selfless nature is befitting that of a school idol's.

Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club: Mia Taylor (Small)

From Episode 9 of Season 2 where she tried to make the perfect song from Lanzhu before her friend leaves to Hong Kong but Lanzhu didn't feel the passion anymore and declined to sing it due to how average it was which caused Mia to give up composing music, blaming herself for not making her songs perfect. Then Rina dropped by to see her, who says that she wants her songs to be recognized, that she loved singing and that doesn't want to disappoint her Taylor family. Rina then told her to write a song for herself to sing. A few days later, Lanzhu said that she will leave that evening, and School Idol Club rushed to the airport for a farewell song, the reason why Lanzhu was returning to her home country is because she just couldn't compete against the Nijigasaki School Idol Club in making people happy from their music and performances even after she gave them everything she got. But after Mia sang the finished song to her friend, Lanzhu said that she wants to be a solo idol because she is unable to be friends with anyone. The other girls then encouraged Lanzhu and say that she was important to the School Idol Club due to her inspirations and styles pushed the group forward. After that, Lanzhu, Mia and Shioriko joined the School Idol Club. Sorry, she doesn't have much foot shots.

Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club (Season 2): Slumber Party

From Episode 10, where the Nijigasaki Idol Club were staying over Shizuku Osaka's house for a slumber party thanks to Kasumi and her plan to show off how she's the club's president once the group had their fun from shopping in different stores to a game created by Rina where the player who can find and collect the most amount of cats once time runs out wins (think Pokemon Go but with cats). During the game, Shioriko questioned Lanzhu about what was she wanted to do, she said that she wants to take a photo with the entire club, and Shioriko suggested taking one with her first. While taking the photo, they both realized that they have made progress in the game. After the game ended, Yu, the winner of the game, asks the rest of the Club to come up with lyrics for her song as her prize. That night, the Club writes lyrics for what eventually became "Love U My Friends".
