Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai: Merle (Episode 67)

This is where Merle saved Popp from getting killed by Zaboera with a cursed toxic dragger during the fight against his forces. Popp himself stated that he wasn't worthy to be one of the five Avan's Disciples as he failed to realize his cowardice, which caused the Purification Spell, Kaglimmer, to be not powerful enough to weaken the barrier around Vearn's Palace.

 Ryoko is a mostly silent member of the Red Tails who wears a surgical mask.  She has a delinquent like personality and often seen with Yuka.
