I'm trying to be a little bit better with response time this year. I'm still way behind on posting material but when I heard a tip about a barefoot Pokemon Gym Leader, I couldn't resist looking into it right away. It was hot!!
(These are from Pokemon XYZ episode 19 The Master Class Begins: A Maiden's Fight Where Sparks Fly. A Massive Thank You to GumballW for tipping us off to this scene)
Korrina is the Shalour city gym leader. Her specialty is Fighting type Pokemon. Trainers who successfully defeat her in battle are awarded the Rumble badge. ^_^ It's not an easy thing though as Ash will attest. In her initial encounter she beats him (and what's gotta be a level 100 Pikachu by now) for her 99th win.
This year marks the 20th Anniversary of Pokemon. It is hard to believe the series has been around for that long. I've been following this series for a long time starting at Pokemon Yellow. These days though I'm a little behind on my gaming. I still need to play Black and White 2 and Pokemon X & Y so I haven't gotten to meet Korrina yet. She looks like a really attractive character and she seems like she's really energetic. I think that it will be an encounter I enjoy though. ^_^
This episode featuring Korrina barefoot involved a Pokemon Showcase Tournament Serena was competing in. Korrina and her Pokemon Lucario were watching Serena compete on TV and rooting for her. Being in the comfort of her living room, the gym leader had her shoes off. ^_^ The nice thing about this competition episode was that it looks like it's going to be a two parter so it's possible we'll see Korrina continue to watch the fight in the next episode as well. :-) I'm crossing my fingers for more barefoot scenes.
All right everyone that's all for now. As always... more to come soon. ^_^

Nice to finally see this
ReplyDeleteThanks again for the great tip. ^_^
Deleteanyone notice that Lucario seems to always be owned by a girl that goes barefoot?
ReplyDeleteNot always.
DeleteBetween her and Maylene, ^_^ This pokemon type does seem to luck out quite a bit. ^_^
DeleteGreat job with this post! And yeah, I'm excited for the second part, too.
ReplyDeleteThanks. Yeah... here's hoping for more Korrina scenes in it.
DeleteAnd I wanna know if Serena actually WINS the contest.
Delete:-) Yeah... It's very exciting. ^_^
DeleteYep. I do feel bad for Miette, though.
DeleteMe too. She took the loss very hard.
DeleteAt least it was handled much better than Georgia and Bianca, that's for sure!
DeleteOh... I didn't see what happened with them. It must have been harsh.
DeleteIt was much worse. Let's just say, Miette had it good compared to them.
DeleteOh I'm sorry to hear that. I like both those characters.
DeleteIf you dare look up exactly what happened, don't say I didn't warn you.
DeleteO.O I'm almost scared to look but I'm curious. I have to do some marathon watching of the series to find out what I missed.
DeleteIf you must know, they're in Black and White episodes 90 and 104.
DeleteOh may look those up just to see what happened. Thanks for the titles.
DeleteLook up Fire Emblem Fates. You will not be disappointed.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip Sole Eater. My friend is working on a mega-set for the characters in that series. It will be posted here pretty soon.
DeleteOh! Something I forgot to mention! In XYZ episode 105, Serena has a shot showing both of the bottoms of her feet!
ReplyDeleteO_O Thanks for the tip. That sounds really awesome. I'll try to find that episode.
DeleteNo prob. And yes, there were more Korrina scenes in today's episode.
DeleteSorry, I meant XYZ episode 5, not 105.
Delete:-D Yay more Korrina... that's great to hear.
DeleteOh thanks. I'll try to cap that as well.
Yeah, can't wait to see them!
DeleteYou have to think Korrina would enjoy a good foot rub after a long day of gym battles, especially since she skates the whole time
ReplyDeleteOh yeah... definitely. ^_^ Between the gym battles and her skates. She's on her feet a lot. :-)
