A couple of episodes in this tributes...
Double Date
The episode had Bugs enlist Lola's help to give Bug's friend Daffy Duck advice on how to pick up women.
To do that Lola writes down some lines designed to pick up any girl Daffy wants.
Some of the advice is really useful such as telling a woman how beautiful she is but there's a touch of Lola's crazy personality there too.
Example: Telling your crush that you will cut off anyone in your family that doesn't approve of your relationship with her.
Daffy winds up reading Lola's pick up lines to her in order to practice which has the effect of making Lola fall in love with him. (At the time her and Bugs aren't officially a couple.)
For Lola...that means stalking her crush. She sneaks into Daffy's room attempts to seduce him waiting on his bed and tempting him with her legs and feet.
Daffy had successfully used bits of Lola's advice to score a date with another duck (Tina) which Lola isn't happy about.
She warns Daffy against dating using logic that makes sense only to her (i.e. Tina sounds like a made up name).
She may be a stalker. ^_^;
"She might be crazy." ^_^;
Lola's reasoning becomes even more hilarious when it becomes obvious that she used a ladder to sneak into Daffy's room herself.
When Lola can't convince Daffy out of the date, she convinces Bugs to take her to the same restaurant so that so that she can spy on Daffy. ^_^
The episode ends on a happy note though. Bugs finds out that Lola is crushing on Daffy and inadvertently exclaims "Daffy is not your boyfriend! I'm your boyfriend." This seems to snap Lola out of her obsession with Daffy as she asks Bugs to repeat that.
Bugs realizing what he said immediately tries to back peddle but it is too late. Lola had recorded him saying that. :-)
DMV
This was a fun episode Bugs finds out that Lola is driving without a license so he takes her to the DMV to get one.
As the episode progresses, it becomes increasing obvious that Lola does not have the knowledge necessary to pass the test. ^_^
She manages to pass the written portion when she accidentally switches Exam papers with Porky Pig.
Then passes the driving portion by driving so wildly that her Examiner (Yosemite Sam) was too stunned to fail her. ^_^;
To top it off she gloats about passing to Porky who wound up failing the exam himself
You do feel a little bit bad for Porky but can't help smiling at Lola's Zaniness. ^_^
Beauty School
This episode had Lola mistakenly believe that Bugs was seeing another Bunny behind Lola's back.
In actuality Bugs was wearing a wig to help Daffy practice for an exam he was taking to become a hair stylist and the woman Lola thought she saw was Bugs in the wig.
The situation is so ridiculous that Lola doesn't believe Bugs when he explains it to her.
We then get treated to the most Hilarious suspicious girlfriend moment that I've ever seen.
Lola: "I am watching you Bugs...watching you?"
She proceeds to walk backwards never taking her eyes off Bugs...crashing into various items behind her.
..."Watching you!"
...watching you!!
As an added treat. Lola climbs a drainpipe to spy on Bugs and we are given a good look at her soles when she accidentally falls off of it. ^_^
You've Got Hate Mail
Lola convinces Bugs to be a part of her family picture but becomes hesitant changes her mind when Bugs accidentally chips his tooth. Offended... this makes Bugs all the more determined to be in that picture.
Lola dresses up for the picture so we get to see her in a really cute Cowgirl outfit this episode. ^_^
More Lola still to come!!
