The Smurfs (2021): Leaf
Leaf is a fairy that appears in Season 2 of the 2021 Smurfs TV series. She is destined to replace Mother Nature who is younger than we might expect, and a little bit flighty. She’s always barefoot and one of the cutest barefooter we have seen in years. For context, the shots involving her and Gargamel, Gargamel’s mother slipped him a love potion to make her fall in love with Leaf so Leaf tries to make herself unappealing to him. These are from the episodes Manners Matter, The Talented Justa Smurf, Gargamel Goes Gaga, Wild Gets Tamed, The Sarsaparillo Run, The Yummyus Pie, Happy Smurfs Fools Day!, Leaf's Under The Weather & An Unsmurfy Friendship.

ReplyDeleteThere's also a graphic novel called Tinker Bell and the Wings of Rani, which has five full-colour comics, including the fifth one called Barefoot. Plot: After, Queen Clarion's helpers lose her shoes she decides to go barefoot making it the latest trend in Pixie Hollow. When the fairies go barefoot good and bad things happen to them, Rani catches a cold, Bess gets paint all over her feet, and Tink steps on something hard. They all decide to wear shoes again, when Queen Clarion is seen wearing shoes again. In the end its revealed that Queen Clarion loves to go barefoot whenever she can.
