The Ladies of Summer Wars

Today, I present to you individual character art for most of the female cast of the movie, Summer Wars. There's something quite satisfying about a film where a majority of the girls are barefoot for a majority of the film itself. So all the ladies are featured here individually, except for the senior citizens. And our lead heroine, Natsuki, will be showcased at the end. Now let's get started.

42 year old Rika Jinnouchi, a civil servant for the city government. She's independent, single, and proud of it.

42 year old Naomi Miwa, a divorcee. Her beauty makes her look younger than she really is, so she was given sunglasses and lipstick to ensure she wasn't mistaken for being the same age as Natsuki.

39 year old Kiyomi Ikezawa, a health care provider based in Nagoya. She is currently 8 months pregnant.

37 year old Noriko Jinnouchi.

32 year old Nana Jinnouchi, a newlywed. 2 images for her.

38 year old Yumi Jinnouchi, a baseball fanatic, especially for her son Ryohei. She was apparently very beautiful in her younger days.

9 year old Mao Jinnouchi, Noriko's daughter.

47 year old Yukiko Shinohara, Natsuki's mother.
