One Piece: Otama (Episode 1084)
This is during a flashback where Otama and Luffy chat with each other one last time before the latter leaves Wano after the defeat of Kaido and Orochi in the battle of Onigashima.
@Inuroger: I don't think that's true. The fight itself dragged on regardless of quality since it felt like where Luffy was in his (Fourth Gear) Gear 4 fighting against Doflamingo in Dressrosa.
You realized I was just joking, right? Also, with the drop in quality I only mean after Luffy awakened Gear 5 and that happened not because of budget or anything but because the anime animators are not used to animating in Toon Force mode and they made several mistakes like using fast motion when slow motion would have been better and using slow motion when fast motion was better a good example was when they used Luffy's bulging eyes when Kaido cast Boro Breath on him they did it very quickly while that scene would have been great if at the moment when his eyes were completely out they had used slow motion or a small time stop. and there are several errors like this throughout the Gear 5 fight, which doesn't happen in the following Gear 5 fights where everything is much more fluid, showing that the animators have already become accustomed to the style.

ReplyDeleteAnd this is why the animation quality of the Kaido vs. Luffy Gear 5 fight went downhill. They wasted the budget on scenes of the girls' feet.
ReplyDelete>pumping entire production budget into sakuga of nothing but loli foot movement
DeleteWorth it.
