Custom's Picks: You and Idol PreCure♪ The Movie: For You! Our Kirakilala Concert!

This is going to be one of the last new Pretty Cure movies I would be doing because of how burned out I was with this franchise to the point I have this love-hate relationship with Pretty Cure in general after watching and posting almost each entry which is over 20 seasons or shows along with some movies. I have planned on ending my time with PreCure after Y&I was finished in terms of new content but decided to put future posts outside of scheduled ones on a hiatus instead of completely leaving this magical girl franchise for good. Don't get me wrong, some entries are my favorites, but some are not. 

As for the movie itself, Uta and her friends were invited by Totto, a coral fairy, to an idol event called "The Super Miracle Idol Festival". Things were fine and the girls were making a crowd cheer with their music, until a group of jellyfish-like monsters called Dark Jellies that can petrify things and people if one's life suck away by them. After that, the main girls were sent back to 1,000 years in the past before idols were a thing on AiAi Island and met a girl named Teera who hates idols because of what happened to the island's Goddess, Amasu, who was turned into stone because of the Dark Jellies. It was up to Uta and her friends to find out what happened, get Teera to learn more about idols and to return to the future.
