Escartin is Mina's rival at Luna TV who spends most of her time trying to sabotage an oblivious Mina's career. Escartins one sided rivalry is due to her jealousy of Mina's large fan base; although, unknown to Mutsume, she actually has a large fan base of alien rabbits. Musumune's schemes usually end up with her injured and in bandages by the end of the episode.
