Supergirl Celebration Part 9: Smallville Supergirl

 Ok our next Supergirl up is her Live Action Smallville version. Smallville centers a younger version of Clark Kent before he becomes Superman. Supergirl appears in only a couple of seasons in the series but it was very good to see her. She was portrayed by the actress Laura Vandervoort.

The nice thing about this version of her is we get a barefoot moment of her in her debut episode though we don't get much of her feet after that. 

Her actress luckily has a lot of great foot images out there this is helped by her posting regularly on Instagram

I feel Supergirl was heavily underutilized on Smallville. She joined the show late, didn't get nearly enough memorable scenes and eventually disappeared from the cast in later seasons. The actress portraying Kara was very hot but really did not get a chance to shine much. By comparison other female characters in the series Lana, Lois, Chloe and even the Villainess Tess Mercer stood out more. 

We also don't get to see Kara in a full Supergirl outfit in this because the series was determined to focus on Clark before he became Superman. Kara's outfits match her Supergirl color themes though. Kara is also shown to have better control of her powers than Clark in this. While Clark only fully develops his ability to fly at the end of the series, his cousin is able to fly right off the bat.
