Supergirl Celebration Part 8: DC Extended Universe Supergirl

The version of Supergirl appeared in the movie the Flash. She was portrayed by the by the Columbian actress Sasha Calle. This version is a rare non-blonde version of the character with short black hair as part of her character design. She also is much more of a Tomboy than other versions of her.

The nice thing about the movie is that Supergirl shows her barefeet a lot in it.

Some more images of her actress...

(Various caps and webfinds of DCEU Supergirl / Sasha Calle including a lot of Wikifeet collected images of her)

Other posts in the series can be found here:

This version of Supergirl is very powerful. She comes off as a lot spicier and fiercer than versions of her I've seen. Sadly the DC Extended universe was rebooted after the Flash movie premiered so we only get to really see hear in one film. I like the design of her costume. The way the red is mixed together with Dark blue gives her a nice visual appeal. It short of reminds me of Superboy's costume minus the leather jacket. If the DCEU had continued on... there is a good chance we would have seen this version of Supergirl get her own film which I feel like it would have been a lot of fun to see.

Ok still more versions of Supergirl to go.

Up up and away!!

Halloween Foot Festival 2020

At long last, it is here, the first Halloween at the Foot Festival of the 2020s! Now before we get started, I had to tell you that whoever is perfect for the party in terms of Halloween costumes, please let me know. Anyway, let's get started! I would have an girl named Ruby Walker dressed as Cure Scarlet from Go! Princess PreCure or Magic Knight Hikaru Shidou from Rayearth due to their red hair and pale skin and protect her homeworld from the evil Paimon, one of the Kings of Hell which an army of demons including 200 legions of superdemons.

Freaks' Squeele Megapost

Freaks' Squeele is a French comic about a trio of aspiring heroes: Xiong Mao, a martial artist who makes up for her lack of super powers with relentless determination, Chance, a spunky demon girl, and Ombre de Loup, a softhearted wolf-man.  Attending the Faculty of Academic Education for Heroes, the trio find themselves thrown into a wild maelstrom of superhero exams, the shady dealings of the F.A.E.H.'s dean, a violent rivalry with another hero school, and the occasional gingerbread soldier uprising or giant Lego man destroying the town.

The series has tons of pop culture references and cameos, including famous director and infamous foot fetishist Quentin Tarantino as the heroes' landlord.

It's a really fun comic I recommend to anyone interested in a bizarre yet well thought out take on fantasy and super heroes that doesn't take itself too seriously.
