Kanako was friends with Junpei in grade school, but that relationship took a hit when she mistakenly believed he gave away a doll she had made for him. Kanako can be quick-tempered, but is also straight forward and protective of her friends. After realizing Junpei still has the doll she develops feelings for him, however she doesn't want to say anything because of Junpei's crush on Kaede.
