Hanamaru is usually quiet and can be a bit self deprecating; often times thinking she doesn't compare to the other girls, especially Ruby. Hanamaru works at her family's technologically impaired temple, and often gets excited around technology such as a lap top or a hair dryer. Before joining Aqours she could often be found reading in the library, and is also a member of a choir.
