Granblue Fantasy the Animation: Lyria (Part 1)
She's an unknown girl with the power to connect with Primal Beasts, she had spend most of her life imprisoned and being experimented on by the Empire, who hoped to use her for her powers for their desire to control the world. She met Gran who had saved her from the Empire but was mortally wounded which led her saving him in return by sharing her powers, once she dies, then he dies along with her. This is only on the first two episodes where she was completely barefooted before she wore sandals in the third episode.
