Yeah I’ve always wondered why do they charge so much for anime figures? Not just Crunchyroll but anywhere they charge hundreds of dollars for these things why?
Apparently, these are glorified Happy Meal Toys. I bought two 6 inch figures of Naofumi & Raphtalia from Rising of the Shield Hero and together cost $80 plus tax and shipping and the normal sized ones are 80 to 90 dollars! I’d love to have those figures but I ain’t Rockefeller
I already have a fake Malorian Arms 3516 that's going for $250 on Etsy (Here it is: https://www.etsy.com/listing/992756663/malorian-arms-3516 ), so it'll be a while before I can save up for this one, too.
It's out of my budget too... If you guys ever get a chance to visit Japan. You should stop at Akihabara. A lot of these types of figures are sold for significantly cheaper there. Regardless very nice post Gumball.
If only i werent broke

Delete@Match: Probably they're hardcore collectors.
DeleteShe is so detailed. Ein looks good too.
ReplyDeleteWill you buy this figure?
DeleteNo way! Not for that price. It isn't a toy anyway, it's something you display.
DeleteToo pricy for you?
DeleteWould you pay $400 for something that does nothing but collect dust?
DeleteAre you talking to me, GumballW?
DeleteDepends on how you calculate the resale value.
DeleteWay too pricy.
