@Custom 958 It's not even so much at it's overused, more so that it's old-fashioned as Dan B said. You don't hear it as much and when you do, it usually belongs to older women. Basically, a lot of young parents aren't naming their daughters Mabel these days.
The only exception was when I had an underclassmen back in high school named Mabel. I'm 25 now, so that wasn't too long ago, but I haven't met another Mabel in my age group since. Lol
Nice girl, her name is kind of old-fashioned though.
