Needing of a New System
I’ve been noticing a lot of butting heads recently on who posts what who drafts first & all of that. So I’m proposing a new system that benefits us all. I believe the best way in assuring everyone has something to post and everyone gets their fair share of an anime is by splitting the characters up. If an anime has a lot of female characters and more than one contributor wants to do that anime it should be split into equal shares. For example me & Dean wanted to posts for Ranma 1/2 (2024) so we ended up negotiating I could do Female Ranma & Dean could do Akane & we split up the rest of the cast evenly. This is simply a proposal in order to make things a little fair. One person cannot hog all the animes to themselves & one person cannot just post something that’s already posted because it devalues the original post & the character. Just something everyone should sleep on.

ReplyDeleteYou & Dean just need to negotiate whenever you want to do the same anime, you do half the characters & Dean gets half the characters.

DeleteReposts need to be spread out as in not shortly after someone posted the original, when I do a repost I generally wait until it’s a few years old or if I find images in much better quality than the original. Again, if you and Dean want to do the same anime, then you should split up the characters evenly like for example if an anime has six female characters, you get three and Dean get three. I’ve seen yours and Dean‘s argument and I’m just trying to be devils advocate here because I do see both sides of the argument.

I don't usually hog over all characters since I don't normally complain too much on the same characters since I would rather focus on my version of the posts and not try to intimate or copy others. If the amount of characters end with an odd number like seven, who would take the seventh and last one?
DeleteJust put aside some characters, like least desirables or low yields, until you all deliberate on how to round posts out evenly first and then, down the road, just come back to do the rest on your own terms.

DeleteYeah... but honestly, I have no idea how you fellas decide on posts, whether it's based on the amount of shows each season, the amount of girls spread across each show or episode content. Because in cases like Nagatoro or Komi, where it's more a centrical girl, that same method probably won't apply. In that case you'd have to wait til show's over then decide on which episodes to take evenly. At least that way and deciding on characters, what the blogger mentioned above, would help mitigate the fighting over shows by just working on different parts of the same show at a time.
DeleteI do wait until the show ends or at least more than enough episodes are out before posting since they might have plenty of content out. But at times, I just do one episode like an beach episode since it got a lot of content on the girls in bikinis and bare feet. I prefer to spread my posts in group shots or one character like a few episodes or one season depending on how long they are in length of runtime. I do movie posts every once in a while, either one post or just break it into parts which again depending on how much content is in it.
DeleteI'm just going to say this and that's all I'm going to say if custom would just let me know he's going to do a small post of character I'm working on I would be fine with it but he never let me know and it feels like he's attacking me it has nothing to be doing on who's first posted I haven't told him that so many times and he never understand.
