Jem and the Holograms: Jerrica Benton (Jem) (classic 80's cartoon), part 1 of 7

Jerrica is the executive of Starlight Music and runs the Starlight Foundation for Foster Girls; running both after her own parents died.  Her Alter ego 'Jem' is also the lead singer and face of the Jem and the Holograms.  Few people outside of her bandmates know that Jerrica and Jem are the same person. Those who don't know includes her long time boyfriend Rio.   Jerrica is hardworking and mature; but, running three major businesses can cause her to burn out.  Jem allows her to be more outgoing and do things Jerrica would not do.

    1. You missed this series back in the day? I know only a little as a kid. One crazy thing it did was the virtual idol motif with girls' programming via the advanced holographic supercomputer, Synergy, long before the likes of Hastune Miku.

    2. Caught it every early Sunday morning on the USA Cartoon Express.
Jem is excitement, Jem is adventure, truly, truly outrageous.

    3. Benny: That's good. I do know some cartoons on there like Josie and the Pussycats and G.I. Joe.

  2. Always wondered if emotionally torturing Rio with her self-cuckqueaning mind games was always her fetish.
