Futari wa Pretty Cure Splash Star Movie: Foot Scenes

About this movie, it felt quite different compared to future PreCure movies as in, like the first two, Saki and Mai don't rely on Miracle Lights (small, magical lights used in various PreCure movies to give the Pretty Cures special powers.) to power them up whenever they're in danger or about to be defeated. Also, this is the first movie where the main duo do not receive an upgrade or super form to defeat the main enemy. Also, this movie is the shortest of them all, runtime is less than an hour (around 50 minutes) as opposed to 70 like most PreCure movies. To me, this maybe the last time where PreCure movies were unique and down-to-earth instead of flashing lights or pandering toys.

Pretty Cure Splash Star: Mai Mishou

She is one of the main protagonists and an academic girl, who likes arts over science and has a more gentle and innocent personality. Her father is an astronomer, her mother is an archeologist and her brother, Kazuya, wishes to become an astronaut when he grows up. She and her family live in an observatory. She met Saki during a summer festival near the Sky Tree five years ago and became friends. As Cure Egret or Windy, her attacks are air-type and wind-type.
