Ayako is a computer programmer working at the lab where the murder occurs.  She's serious when it comes to her work, but has a very playful side.  All of the screen caps come from episode seven when Ayako takes moe to some sensory deprivation tanks.

Moe is an extremely intelligent college student from a well off family.  Her parents died in a plane crash when she was very young.  She has a love of  mystery novels, so solving the locked room murder she gets caught up in piques her interest.  Moe is capable of solving incredibly difficult math equations in her head.  The vast majority of the screencaps are from episode seven and later.
