DeleteThe other magical girl series I do know since I was a kid despite only a little bit is Cardcaptor Sakura, I was questioning on why that magical girl series is just about iconic as Sailor Moon.

DeleteNo I watched some of Cardcaptor Sakura, and bits of Tokyo Mew Mew as well. Also know a lot of others that I haven't seen like W.I.T.C.H. and the Winx club.

DeleteWell I’m not exactly an anime enthusiast. I don’t watch them religiously. My main ones are Pokémon, Yu-gi-oh! and Dragonball. I like some more obscure ones like Eromanga Sensei, Dragon Maid, Keijo etc. but that’s about it.

DeleteThe girls from Sailor Moon is who I'd pick because A: I haven't watch most of the anime on this list minus Cutie Honey (the latest adaptation anyway), and I vaguely remember My-Otome. Only thing I remember from that anime was when one of the girls was tickling a shy girl in I think the girls' locker room(?) and said shy girl was blushing and embarrassed. Comes to show how much anime I've actually watched and I haven't watched too many magical girl anime. And B: It's the anime I'm most familiar with other than Kill la Kill, to which I've yet to watch.
ReplyDeleteAs for My Otome, the shy girl was Nina Wong and that was episode 6 where Nina's weakness was being ticklish when Arika discovered it by mistake. Kill la Kill is one of my favorite anime from Trigger, there's an video game based on the show which is coming out next year. Cutie Honey is the least recognizable since I heard it was one of the first action girls in anime.
DeleteThe magical girl anime I seen and know of are Sailor Moon (obviously), Cardcaptor Sakura, My Hime/Otome, Kill la Kill, Tokyo Mew Mew, some Pretty Cure shows, Lyrical Nanoha, Madoka Magica, Magical Knight Rayearth, Symphogear, Fate/kaleid liner Prima Illya, Gonna by the TwinTail, Pretear, and Flip Flappers. Some of them like Pretty Cure, Tokyo Mew Mew, and Cardcaptor Sakura and Rayearth I had seen and finished earlier this year.
