Bamboo Blade: Maya Yokoo and Karen Nishiyama

Maya is a member of the Machido High Kendo team.  She is a bit of a tomboy and can be loud and aggressive especially when someone doesn't take Kendo seriously.  Apparently she made one of her opponents cry.

  

Karen is also a member of Machido High's Kendo team.  She is a skilled Kendo fighter, but is prone to getting nervous and does not like to fight someone she doesn't know. 

She is also the person to right in many of Maya's pictures.
