War Dance

The inspiration for this set of tributes was actually the first image in this set done by Carla Cohen.

Carla Cohen is an amazing artist. She is really good at depicting attractive females characters and she did a really a nice job her issue #1 cover for this. It was a really pleasant surprise to see the female character also wound up being shown barefoot by other artists as well

The War Dance series is a comic book series  that managed to raise over $38,000 dollars on kickstarter. It seems like it would be a really fun series to read especially given the lead.  :-)
