Not quite a decade between Power Rangers posts this time around. We're jumping ahead a bit to one of the later Power Ranger series this month... Power Rangers Samurai. Today's ranger of choice is Mia Watanabe a cute Japanese ranger. She is portrayed by the actress Erika Fong

Mia is very cool. She is intelligent and looks after her teammates really well. A great thing about Mia is she tends to really optimistic which is nice to see and inspiring. Mia also underwent training as a samurai. Her martial arts skills are formidable even without her powers. She seems able to deliver some powerful kicks as shown in these picture.
In additional to the typical power ranger enhanced abilities Samurai Rangers have multiple looks allowing she vary her transformation in additional to her regular transformation Mega mode. Mia has a Super Samurai form, Shogun for and Illusion form each with it own special abilities. Mia's abilities tap into air and wind abilities which is highlighted by her wielding a fan as a signature weapon. The Kanji on her helmet is the word for Heaven which gets translated into sky in her series.
Her Zord is the Turtle Zord which forms the right arm of her team's Samurai Megazord. It can also be thrown like a Shuriken.
Mia appears in multiple power ranger series having lead roles in the Samurai and Super Samurai seasons. She also cameos in Mega force and Super Megaforce and is referenced in Dino Thunder.
