Koutetsujou no Kabaneri/ Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress Episode 1

I've been thinking of what other current series I'd like to cover here and this one is certainly one of them. It's got fantastic animation, a beautiful artstyle and a pretty cool premise to top it off as expected by the creators of Attack on Titan.

What is Kabeneri of the Iron Fortress? It's basically a zombie story but instead of going for the brain they go for the heart which is protected by a wall of iron which makes them very deadly and threatening and since they are zombies if you're bitten you're screwed and will turn. If you're sick of Zombie stories, well just enjoy the images.

This post will be focusing mainly on Mumei who is our hot-blooded action-girl protagonist. Trapped in this terrible fate she too decides to take action and faces the Kabane (which is what the zombies are called) head on.

I hope this was as fun for you as it was for me. So, I'm thinking I'm going to be covering this on Mondays or Tuesdays once I catch up as long as it keeps providing us with shots of course! If an episode has nothing worth capping and making a post for I will skip over that week and include it in the next post.

That's why Ace Attorney didn't have a post last week by the way! Two zoomed out frame shots does not make a post! Well, see you on Saturday if we get some more material!
