She's the heroine of the series, also known as "The Paper" due to her ability to control paper from creating shields to other weaponized objects and she loves books and her apartment is filled with books. She works as a secret field agent for the British Library, using her papermastery abilities to thwart the British Library's foes and collect valuable books and documents created by historic figures. Outside of spy work, she got a job as an substitute teacher, through which she meets her favorite author, Nenene Sumiregawa. I remembered watching this OVA back in 2008 on SyFy and it was pretty cool, I still have it recorded on a VHS tape to this day.

DeleteI wonder why in a OVA she wear socks but in the anime she doesn't.
DeleteIf you look up Read or Die the TV, she's wearing sandals with no socks in there, so try to find it!
ReplyDeleteI was going to watch that series next month.
DeleteThis was a good anime, and she was cute.
ReplyDeleteIt's like the anime of 007.

DeleteI heard of it before but I haven't seen this one. :-)
DeleteIt's like an anime version of 007 with James Bond as an bookworm and controls paper.
