She is and student to Utakata who saved her from a ninja group who were actually after him from being a rouge ninja and she got caught in the pursuit. After she took him to her village to heal him, she wanted him to be her teacher. She has an headstrong personality and willingly to take her training seriously in order to take over her clan but at times she can be friendly and quick at learning jutsu.
