Kanae is a retired pro wrestler turned wrestling journalist. She takes an early interest in Sakura's career and will often photograph her matches. As a wrestler Kanae was one of 'The Golden Age Girls' with Misaki and Jackal, but was forced to retire early do to a back injury.
