Pokémon (Sun & Moon): Lana and Misty (Part 2)
I forgot to add this in my previous post on this scene in Episode 42. To me, this series is just weird looking at times like an Saturday morning cartoon weird but not hating the show but I just... can't get used to the goofy style because I got so used to the classic era character design from the original series in the Indigo League to DP.

Apparently, the art style change starting from Sun and Moon is because Yo-Kai Watch was overtaking Pokémon in popularity, so they had to keep up somehow. Regardless, it's so great to see the bottoms of both of their feet!
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of which, do you remember the Yo-Kai Watch anime adaptations? I'm a bit surprised YKW is still around in anime form outside of the video games.
