Yona is the soul heir of the Kouka kingdom, as well as the reincarnation of the crimson dragon. On her 16th birthday she witness her main love interest, Soo-Wan, murder her father and take the throne for himself. Forced to become a refugee she seeks out the other four legendary dragons to help her retake her kingdom. Yona starts off sheltered, innocent, and naive; but, quickly shows she can be determined, reliable, and intelligent. She slowly becomes proficient with a bow through constant night time practice. When Yona get angry her eye's light up with a fire that greatly intimidates any one who sees it.
