Kampfer: Shizuku Animations

Ok...since Shizuku won the last poll...here's a little bit of extra material for her. :-) A couple of animations and a swimsuit shot. ^_^ Some of the animations might take a little while to load ^_^; Just be patient. :-)

(The Footsie scene is from Episode 14 of the Kampfer anime. Once again a Massive Thank You to His Divine Shadow for tipping me off to this series. ^_^)

Ok everyone. Here's my basic plan for the immediate future. Things are beginning to get busy for me again so I can't post as regularly as I would like. I think that what I'm going to do is try for a weekly post. That should allow me to keep things going at a moderate rate without completely burning out. I haven't decided which day to do it yet but it will probably be midweek. I know a lot of people have free time over the weekend so in theory it would allow material to be spread out more evenly with the other bloggers here. If I'm able to post more often, I will. As for what posts I'll be making, probably a lot of catch up posts like previous poll winner tributes, the Hit List and some of the long term projects I've been working on. I'll also try to revive the Spotlights column and do some new projects as well. I think it will be fun. ^_^

Anyway, more to come soon guys!!

Kampfer Poll Results

Sorry for posting this so slowly. Had some internet connectivity problems last night. Anyway, here are the results of the Kampfer Poll. :-) 

:-D It looks like Shizuka's skillful feet made her a favorite in this poll. She really dominated this poll. In second place was  Akane and the Kampfer main character Senou took 3rd. This was the first time I tried the other options in my poll. It had some interesting results. I originally started the poll with the 5 main characters in Kampfer but left in the other option in case people wanted to vote for another of rarer Kampfer women which someone did leading to Hitomi being added in as an option in the poll. ^_^ Some of other write in choices were Sakura, Temari, Misty who are technically not Kampfer women but it was interesting to see their names appear. There was also a choice for the women most likely to whatever the voter wants with her feet (which is probably another vote for Shizuka as well).  I kind of like having the other option as part of the polls. Maybe it will reappear in the future. :-)

Anyway as always thanks very much for voting and sharing your opinion guys. :-) It was fun to see. I'll try and post something special commemorating Shizuka's victory later in the week. ^_^

Kampfer: Akane Mishima

Ok for the final post of the January tributes. Here is a megapost to the last Kampfer girl Akane Mishima. ^_^ My favorite character in the Kampfer series, Akane has the unique trait of having a Kampfer personality that is radically different from her regular personality. In her normal persona, Akane is a shy honor student while her Kampfer persona is a loud mouthed trigger happy redhead. It's actually a lot of fun to see how radically different they are. :-)

That's just adorable. ^_^

Akane actually says Checkmate when she points her gun at Kaede's head in this scene. As a chess lover I really enjoyed hearing her say that. :-)

Like Senou, Akane winds up having to model clothing a lot leading to many cosplay scenarios. ^_^ The cowgirl outfit definitely really suits her because she gets to carry a gun. ^_^ 

Like Shizuku, Akane plays footsie with Senou under the table. ^_^

As you can see she's not quite as skilled as at it though. However coming on the coming on the heels of Shizuku's footsie...It's enough to drive Senou completely wild and it proves too much for him. ^_^

(These are also from various episodes of Kampfer. The footsie scene comes from Episode 14. Once again a really big thank you to His Divine Shadow for introducing me to this series. ^_^)

As you guys probably noticed. Akane's Kampfer style is a gun type. She can make her guns appear at will and she loves shooting them (maybe a little  bit too much ^_^;). Her voice actress is Yui Horie which the anime actually references one episode. She's really very talented. :-)

With Akane it's sort of the best of both worlds. Her Kampfer persona is really hot and dominating. It a lot of fun seeing her mouth off and threaten her way through her scenes. She's still really good at heart though and you get the sense that she really cares about Senou a lot.  She always gets furious and threatens Senou at gunpoint when she gets jealous of another girl. In contrast, her normal personality is so sweet you can't help smiling when you see her. She works as a librarian in her school which really seems to suit her very well. ^_^ She really would make a great girlfriend. Just watch out for her temper. :-)
