Wreck It Ralph: Ariel (Rock Candy Figure)

This week's Figure Feet Friday tribute follows up on yesterday's post. Here is a figure modeled after Wreck it Ralph 2's Ariel in her modern clothing.

I like the Rock Candy figures a lot. They remind of the Funko pop set of figures but the Rock Candy line seems to be more realistic while still portraying the characters in a cute way. Sadly of the Disney princesses adapted into figures in this series,  only two models are barefoot. The other is Moana who will be showcased in a later post. Merida who was also shown barefoot in her casual clothes doesn't have a model released for her. 

Ariel looks very cute though. I'm really happy that they kept her model barefoot. :-)

Ralph Breaks the Internet (Comic)

I found out that Dark Horse released a comic book for Ralph Breaks the Internet. Given how foot fans lucked out with one of the scenes in the movie, it seemed like a good idea to check the comic out. As it turns out the series female lead Vanellope visits her fellow Disney princesses for advice with her racing again and treated to a few barefoot panels involving some of these girls. Once again I feel like Ariel steals the show with this one but judge for yourself. ^_^

This is one of those blink and you miss it type moments but we do get a glimpse of Moana's feet as well.

There's also a cool view of Princess Merida getting her foot "tangled" in Rapunzel's hair.

As well as a nice double sole view of Pocahontas. ^_^

An interesting sidenote regarding the princesses' casual outfits (which were also shown in the Ralph breaks the Internet film is that Funko released a set of Disney women figures wearing the modern costume design. I'll talk more about the figure set in future tributes but two of the figures that were released are barefoot models.

With Wreck It Ralph's popularity going strong and the Disney Princess cameo being a memorable scene in the second movie, we may some similar interactions between Vanellope and the princesses in the future. Here's hoping for some more barefoot moments as well. ^_^

Wreck It Ralph 2 Ralph Breaks The Internet : Ariel

The movie Wreck It Ralph 2: Ralph Breaks the Internet released this week. If you guys saw the first film, you know that it a lot of small cameos from other series such as Street Fighter. The second film is no different and the trailer shows a cameo of the lead female character Vanellope meeting the princesses of several Disney movies. We've been really lucky with most of the Disney Princesses showing off their feet in the past and the trend continues in this film as we are treated to a scene of Ariel wiggling her toes in the trailer. We also get a few other glimpses of other barefoot princesses as well. :-D

This scene itself seems like it would make this film worth watching. Here's hoping we get some more female foot content in the film. :-D
