Mikono is the female lead of Aquarion Evol. She comes from a long line of element users, despite this she never seemed to have any powers of her own. This caused her become shy and a bit timid. She eventually discovered she does have the elemental power to connect the minds and feelings of others called the 'power to connect'.
Mikono is one of the cutest girls in Aquarion. I wish she had more foot scenes in the anime.
