Betterman: Hinoki Sai (Episodes 15 and 16)

She's an orphan after her parents and older brother gone missing during an expedition to the Ajanta Caves in India four years before the start of the series. She was recruited as a Head Diver by Akamatsu and Mode Warp shortly thereafter. She acts in a sullen manner and an whiner for a majority of the story, and often deride her own intelligence when asked questions that she cannot, or does not wish to, answer, regardless on how simple or complex they are. She claimed herself as a idiot for making things worse for those around. In these episodes, is where Keita and Hinoki were going on a date, only to encounter a mysterious man who actually helped them to stop the man-eating worms earlier in episode 10 with a special warding bell to repel them. The two were at her house when she was too emotionally distraught to face her past alone and needs her childhood friend's moral support. While there, she broken down her painful family's history before opening up to Keita about her close relationship with her missing (and presumed deceased) older brother, Mario Sai, and the tragedy that tore her family apart. By the way, Hinoki is very ticklish, imagine if Keita tickling her bare feet, she would laugh hard.
