Fathom: Aspen Matthews 2

A little bit of an interlude to the Kampfer sets. I'll post the last girl in a mega post tomorrow but for now here is a quick tribute to the Fathom hottie Aspen Matthews. :-)

One of these days I'm going to read all four series and cap every scene in them. :-D Michael  Turner's artworks is really amazing. ^_^

Ok guys I'm in the process of working on a huge tribute for tomorrow to close out the January marathon with a bang.  It's one of those bonuses where stocking up on ice might prove useful. :-)

Kampfer: Extra Characters

Ok...these are some extra characters from Kampfer who aren't leads in the series. Basically These are divided up into two sets...The White Kampfer aka Kaede's harem and the Class Representatives.

White Kampfer

Above  is Rika Ueda. The first white Kampfer introduced in the series. She wields a Sickle with a chain attached to it as her weapon.

These are all the white Kampfer. From Left to right we have...Sayaka Nakao, Rika, Hitomi Minagawa and Ryoka Yamakawa.

You can see that the White Kampfer are totally devoted to Kaede and would happily do anything to please her.  I can't say that I blame them.

Hitomi is the de facto leader of the white Kampfer when Kaede is not around. She's a magic type firing lightning out of her hands.

Class Representatives

The Class representatives are a trio of girls who are the heads of Senou's class. They love making money and usually exploit the female Senou in order to do it. They do things like make him participate in photo shoots or blackmail him into becoming a waitress at their restaurant.

Basically the trio consists of class president (glasses), vice president (blonde) and the Treasurer (bangs).

The vice rep sort of look likes Ino so naturally I was really happy to catch the glimpse of her feet above.

Kill La Kill: Ryuko Matoi (update)

Just a quick little post this time. Once again we have a moment where the heroine Ryuko finds herself in a bad situation after a climactic battle. She awakes in her teacher's home in a panic, flailing her feet around.

Kampfer: Kaede Sakura

Ok continuing with the Kampfer tributes. Here is a post dedicated to the hottie Kaede Sakura. :-)

Kaede is an interesting character.She along with Shizuku and the female version of Senou are considered to be the 3 beauties of Seitetsu high school and she is the crush of the main character in the series. While Senou adores her and tries to hook up with her. She only has feeling for the female version of him. To complicate the matter further...Major Spoiler alert: She is the main antagonist of the Kampfer anime. In the second half of the series she organizes a group of white Kampfers to attack the red and blue Kampfers and attempts to recruit Senou to join her team under the condition he continuously remains in his female form while with her.

As the main villainess, Kaede proves to be incredible adept. She able to wield both a sword and a gun and can hold her own against all the main characters at once. She also seems to have a hypnotic power to her being able to manipulate Kampfers into attacking their allies. The white Kampfer she recruited seem to adore and obey her unquestioningly basically giving her her own harem. We'll take more about them in the next post.

The anime seems to hint that Kaede herself is possessed because there are moments even after she is revealed to be the main villainess where she behaves like a normal schoolgirl. She even tells the protagonists after a fight that she may not remember that encounter in school the next day. This doesn't get resolved in the anime because the manga was still ongoing when the anime aired. In her everyday persona Kaede is a sweet and kind girl. In her villainess persona, Kaede is manipulative and cunning knowing how exploit a character's weakness or use their attraction against them. She seems to have a dominating and teasing personality too playfully saying she would punish her subordinates if they displease her. For foot fans like us though that's a huge positive. :-D
