Devilman Crybaby: Miki Makimura 3
To continue with GumballW's posts, I decided to do the rest of her in this series, I had finished watching this on Netflix and it was pretty good despite the whole nudity and gory thing. These are from Episodes 8 and 9.
I actually like Miki for her kindness but sad to see her died in Episode 9. Miki, you gave us foot fetishists a handful of memories of your feet, rest in peace, sweetie.

DeleteThat part destroyed me, I knew what was coming since I read the manga, but I wasn't prepared for it to end like that.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean Chris. Imo, one of the worst endings to a series ever! Go Nagai must have really loved Shakespearean tragedies, because he took it to an all-new extreme with this series.

ReplyDeleteUh, let me think...yes! All her comrades sacrificed themselves to save her, and their sacrifices ended up being in vain. Akira tried to avenge her demise, he failed and ended up getting killed. Bottom line, pretty girl, but an extremely violent series with a complete BS Shakespearean tragedy type ending.
DeleteI'm assuming you had read and seen the original Devilman and Devilman Lady. I took wanted her to live so she can be with Akira. Do you hate Kill'em All or tragic endings?
DeleteI just read about the original, and saw promos for The Devil Lady series when ADV had the rights. And yes, I hate tragic endings and Kill'em Alls with a passion. And this series is a classic example.
