This was definitely a major turning point in the series. Ronja was heartbroken, and she absolutely did the right thing by turning herself over to the other clan to ensure Birk's release. Even though her mother Lovis did nothing wrong, she still didn't want to talk to her or anybody. And in the next episode, Ronja and Birk make a choice that will impact their families significantly.
Well, there's not much more to say than good job. And in this 2 parter, nobody was feeling good by the end. I was hating Mattis as much as Ronja. Sturkas getting injured by one of Borka's men was an accident. But he has to unpurposely take it out on Birk, and beat the s*** out of him just because he's the son of his rival. Despicable, he's going to need a while to reflect on the severity of what he's done.

ReplyDeleteWell, it is an two-parter. I was surprised by this too.
DeleteIs there anything else you want to talk about, Dan?
DeleteI'm good until the next one.
DeleteSo basically you're going to leave behind previous posts?
