Spirited Away: Chihiro Ogino

Chihiro's growth into a capable individual is a core factor to the movement of Spirited Away's plot. During her adventure in the Spirit World, she matures from an easily scared girl with a childlike personality to match her age to a hard-working, responsible, and brave young girl who has learned to put her fears aside for those she cares for. To protect her friends and rescue her parents from a spell that has turned them into livestock, Chihiro sheds her former personality and adapts to her environment to become a courageous, quick-witted and reliable girl.

      Yeah, they are pretty nice, too. Of course, this post is special, because dirty feet almost NEVER appear in animation.

      When Lilo and Nani are having their first sister moment in the first movie. BEFORE Stitch arrives/crashes.

    Oh, yes! I loved that movie. She was barefoot throughout the movie, not including the opening and the train ride. As a trample fan, I was happy to see her boosted out of the bathtub, accidentally kicking Kamaji in the nose, and especially stepping on that slug. Lot's of good trampling with her!

    i didnt see the clip when she fell in the tub and that she was stuck headfirst at the bottom of the tub, that was good feet footage :/

    Awesome... Out of all the Miyazaki films that I watched so far, Spirited away is my favorite one!! Really love this post very much. ^_^

      I like it for two reasons, one for the large amount of barefoot scenes and the second being more of a structured plot than the other miyazaki films
