Sayako is a member of Muroe's Kendo club and is usually the center in the teams matches. She can be impulsive, switching from one hobby to another only to quit when she gets frustrated. The only things she seems to stick to is writing, her guitar, and Kendo; although, she has quit and came back to all three. She has been friends with Kirino since elementary school and the two have an instinctive sense when the other is not doing well.
