Custom's Picks: Cosmic Princess Kaguya! (Part 1)

This movie is about Iroha Sakayori, who moved out of her family's house to not only to live independently but to escape from her strict mother who force her to give up her dreams on being a musician after her father died. While she was struggling to keep a tight schedule of high school, tutoring and being a part-timer at a cafe, she found some time for herself in the virtual world of Tsukuyomi to meet her A.I. idol, Yachiyo. On her way home one night, she encountered a glowing utility pole with a small baby inside. After taking her into her apartment, the baby rapidly aged into a young girl over the span of a few days. The girl, claiming to be from the Moon, is named Kaguya after the Japanese folktale. Fed up with the "depressing" ending of the folktale, Kaguya aimed for a "happy" ending with Iroha while learning more about Tsukuyomi and the real world.
