Canal is the ship 'Sword-Breaker' computer that often takes a holograpic form. She normally take the form of a young green haired woman, but can transform into a variety of people and objects. Canal did not start out as self-aware; but evolved it at some point in the past and now sees herself as a separate person from the ships computer. Canal is obsessed with keeping the ship clean as well as upgrading the ships weapon systems.
